Saumya: ‘Aditya Dhar was always on my wish list’ – Exclusive

“It is absolutely a delight to see Dhurandhar do so well. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this much adulation, appreciation, and love for my work, because I always thought that my part in the film was not very big. And I didn’t really expect this much appreciation, even after a smaller screen time part, though I was told that, I mean, everybody’s telling me that you have made an impact. It’s not about the number of scenes or the number of minutes that you are on screen, but it’s just that you made your presence felt. I’ve got a response from various directors, producers, my fellow industry colleagues, from common people, and on social media, where my memes are trending. They’ve all said that I have a very good screen presence, and I acted well. I have made an impact. People are talking about my chemistry with Akshaye. It was a silent part yet, you know, numerous memes are trending on Instagram. It’s quite overwhelming, and I’m very grateful.”
