Nivin Pauly’s horror-comedy ‘Sarvam Maya’ continues to draw crowds in theatres, even with its OTT release on JioHotstar set for January 30. The film has achieved a remarkable Rs 145.3 Cr worldwide. The makers have officially confirmed that ‘Sarvam Maya’ will start streaming on JioHotstar from January 30. This announcement was shared through an official social media post by lead actor Riya Shibu.Sarvam Maya is directed by Akhil Sathyan and has emerged as a major hit during its theatrical run. The story follows Prabhendu, an atheist who is born into a traditional family of Hindu priests. He dreams of becoming a musician but struggles to make a steady income. His father and brother are successful priests and even travel abroad for religious work. Due to personal and financial reasons Prabhendu returns to his village in Palakkad and starts helping his cousin Roopesh,who is a local priest. He does this mainly for money and not because of faith.Things take a strange turn when Prabhendu meets a ghost that only he can see. The ghost has no memory of her past and calls herself Delulu. She has a modern and Gen-Z personality which adds humor to the story.
