Actress Sara Foster recently revealed that she is extremely happy about her father, David Foster, and Katharine McPhee’s relationship. Sara Foster fully supports David Foster and Katharine McPhee, no matter what other people have to say. The actress called fellow star Katharine McPhee “amazing” and stated that the two of them get along really well. While talking on ‘Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari’ on June 30, Foster also shared that she does not have any issues with their age gap.For the unversed, David Foster is 76 years old, while Katharine McPhee is 42 years old. The two have a 35 year age difference which has been a topic of debate online ever since they were first linked together in 2017.Foster continued to sing praises for McPhee and added “I have to tell you, she really is. Everyone has an opinion about something, and you know what? They’re like 12 years in, and they are happy.” She also shared that “This is not like some child bride. She is in her 40s,” adding that McPhee is an adult who has made her own decision as a consenting adult.

The ‘D.E.B.S’ star then weighed in on how her relationship with McPhee has been, commenting about how she handles the ‘stepmom thing’ really well. Foster also mentioned that, “I think you want to ride the line of wanting your partner’s kids to like you and wanting to show up as a motherly figure, but you also have to have respect for the biological mom. I think it’s a tough balance, and I think she does it really well.”She also shared that McPhee does not really ‘take over’ situations and ‘mother’ her since she is older than her. The 45 year old also commented that “I look at her as a sister, but like she is my stepmom. She’s my dad’s wife. So, I think it’s normal for her to come in and kind of take over in certain [situations], and she really doesn’t do that.”
