‘Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat’ is an upcoming political thriller web series set in a strong feudal backdrop, where power and survival define every move. The story explores a rural Telugu setting filled with layered characters and shifting loyalties. Unlike regular political dramas, the series focuses on realism, showing how individuals think, plan, and react in a space where ethics are often unclear and every decision comes with a consequence.

What makes the ‘Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat’ series stand out, Samyuktha answers

In an exclusive chat with Etimes, Samyuktha said, “The series is set in a strong political backdrop, and it is very rooted to a certain area in Telugu land.” She added, “It shows the different ways in which people handle and strategize politics and different motives.” Explaining the complexity, she said, “People under the same political wing might have different interests, and you will not see so much of ethics in that space.”

Samyuktha on her ‘Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat’ character and strength

Talking about her role, Samyuktha shared, “It’s a very strong character, but the strength is not in the loudness.” She explained, “The strength is in the way she navigates her way ahead.” She also mentioned, “Every single person in that space should always have a 360-degree awareness for their own survival.” She added that she wants the role to feel unique, saying, “I just want this character to stand really apart from what I’ve done before.”

Samyuktha’s preparation and challenges of a Web Series format

Speaking about preparation, she said, “I want to sit with my director and writer and rehearse each and every scene because this is a new world for me.” On doing a web series, she admitted, “This is the first time I’m doing a long format, and the scenes are spread across episodes.” She further added, “For me to draw the character arc and decide where it is standing is something I have to be very thorough about. Mind preparation really matters.”
