Samantha Ruth Prabhu left everyone surprised on December 1 as she announced wedding with director Raj Nidimoru. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Coimbatore. They got married in a sacred Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the abode of Linga Bhairavi Devi within Isha Yoga Center. Samantha made a beautiful bride in a red banarasi saree with flower motifs. Raj on the other hand opted for a beige kurta with a gold jacket. While the bride opted for an Arpita Mehta saree, the groom wore an outfit from Tarun Tahiliani. As their wedding photos went viral, many of their friends and family who attended their wedding, shared pictures from the ceremony. Samantha reshared a photo which her friend dropped with a super cute yet funny caption. In this particular picture, it’s a moment right before the varmala where she’s smiling wide at him. Samantha captioned this photo as, “The moment when you realise you are his problem now.”
Meanwhile in the other photos from this post, one sees Samantha smiling wide even during her mehendi ceremony as Raj clicked a photo of her hands with henna on it. Samantha’s friend Meghna Vinod who dropped pictures from the wedding, penned a heartwarming note which read, “What I saw is a love that uplifts yet steadies, listens yet strengthens, calms yet sets free. Watching you get married, I’ve seen a new kind of happiness in you @samantharuthprabhuoffl and I couldn’t be happier for you. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness ♾️” Reportedly, Samantha and Raj fell in love when they worked together on ‘Citadel’. While Raj was married earlier to Shhyamali De, Samantha was married to actor Naga Chaitanya and announce divorce with him in 2021.
