Salman Khan is in discussion to star in a superhero movie with the director duo, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. However, no official announcement has been made yet. Now, as per the latest development, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in the running to star in the movie. It will be the first time the actress will share screen space with the superstar.

According to the Mid-Day report, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in discussion with the makers to feature in a movie starring Salman Khan. The report stated, “Samantha is very much in the conversation. She shares a strong creative equation with the makers, and they feel she fits the part.”Reportedly, in the movie, the superstar will play the role of a “reluctant, retiring superhero” like Will Smith’s ‘Hancock’. As per the report, the makers want to start rolling the film in August this year.However, the movie’s scheduling will depend on Salman Khan’s current work commitments. He is yet to complete the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Battle of Galwan’, directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

Salman Khan is currently busy with his ‘Battle of Galwan’, co-starring Chitrangda Singh. The movie is based on the clash between the Indian and the Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in 2020. The movie is reportedly slated for an August release.Apart from this, Salman Khan will reportedly feature in a movie directed by Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally. And if reports are to be believed, Nayanthara is the frontrunner to feature as the female lead in the film. Backed by Dil Raju, the movie might go on floors in April this year. On the personal front, the actor is going through a tough phase, as his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, has been hospitalized after suffering a brain hemorrhage since February 17, 2026. As per recent reports, the cinema veteran is recovering and might be discharged soon.
