Salman Khan’s nephew, singer Ayaan Agnihotri, has officially announced his engagement to girlfriend Tina Rijhwani. The announcement came via Instagram, where Ayaan shared a series of romantic pictures from the proposal, instantly grabbing attention across social media.

‘Leaving my girlfriend behind in 2025’

Making the big announcement, Ayaan captioned the post, “Leaving my girlfriend behind in 2025 💍❤️.” The pictures show the singer holding Tina close and kissing her as she proudly shows off her diamond ring.The proposal took place beside a pool decorated with rose petals, while fireworks lit up the night sky, adding to the dreamy setting.

Celebs and close friends shower love

Soon after Ayaan shared the news, celebrities and close friends of the Khan family poured in with congratulatory messages. Malaika Arora commented, “Yaaaaaaaniiiiiiii ❤️❤️ tinaaaaa ❤️❤️.” Seema Sajdeh wrote, “Yaannniiii congratulations ❤️❤️.”Zaheer Iqbal reacted with excitement, writing, “Brooooooooo 🕺🎉 Congratulationzzzz Guyssss ❤️❤️ so so happy for u both ❤️❤️.” Sonakshi Sinha added, “Omg omg omg omg i cannnnnt!!!!! ❤️❤️.” Amruta Arora also chimed in with, “Yaaaaaniii ❤️❤️.” Several others shared their love and best wishes for the couple.

A closer look at Ayaan Agnihotri’s family roots

Ayaan Agnihotri is the son of actor-producer Alvira Khan Agnihotri and filmmaker Atul Agnihotri, and the nephew of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. He is also the grandson of veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, placing him firmly within one of Hindi cinema’s most prominent film families. Despite his lineage, Ayaan has largely stayed away from the spotlight, with his parents ensuring he had a relatively private upbringing. However, he occasionally features in family pictures shared by Salman Khan and other relatives, often drawing attention for his close bond with his famous uncle. On the work front, Ayaan Agnihotri is a musician who goes by the stage name Agni. He released his latest track, Universal Laws, on February 20, 2025.
