Salman, Mika tease Kunickaa about affair with Kumar Sanu

Salman Khan, Mika Singh tease Kunickaa Sadanand about her affair with Kumar Sanu: 'Abhi bhi riyaaz chalu hai'

Actress Kunickaa Sadanand who is currently in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house has been open about her relationship with Kumar Sanu. They were in a relationship for a few years when the singer was separated from his first wife Rita Bhattacharya, though not officially divorced. In the recent episode of ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ on ‘Bigg Boss 19’, which also featured singer Mika Singh, during a task, both Mika and Salman took a dig at Kunickaa about Sanu. The episode had everyone in splits when singer Mika Singh entered the house for a musical challenge. He asked the contestants to sing his songs as part of a fun game, and things took a hilarious turn when actress Kunickaa Sadanand grabbed the mic.As Kunickaa began to sing, Mika couldn’t resist teasing her. With a cheeky smile, he said she had always been “close to music and melody,” which many instantly took as a playful reference to her past relationship with singer Kumar Sanu. The house burst into laughter — even Salman Khan joined in, jokingly asking her if she was “still learning music.”Mika added to the fun, saying, “Aapko sur ka bohot gyaan hai, aap sur se bohot kareeb rahi hain.” To which Salman quipped, “Lagta hai abhi bhi riyaz chal raha hai,” leaving everyone in stitches. Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Kunickaa had opened up about her personal life. She revealed that she was once in a long, secret live-in relationship with a married man for nearly 30 years. Though she didn’t name him, fans quickly linked her story to her past relationship with Kumar Sanu. In an old interview with ETimes, Kunickaa had said, “I have no shame in accepting that I was in a relationship with Kumar Sanu in 1993. He was in an estranged marriage at that time and living away from his family. It was good till it lasted.”She had also shared, “It has been 25 years since we split, and Sanuji has married again and is living happily with his family. We respect each other, and I don’t have any regrets. It is a closed chapter now, and I am happy being single now.”
