Salim Khan and Salma Khan celebrate 61st wedding anniversary; Helen, Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal join the celebrations

The Khan family had a special reason to celebrate on November 18 as veteran screenwriter Salim Khan and his wife Salma Khan stepped out to mark their 61st wedding anniversary. The couple celebrated the milestone evening with close family members at Sohail Khan’s residence.In one of the photos shared by paparazzi, Salma Khan was seen stepping out of her car as she arrived to spend quality time with her family. Marking the occasion, Helen, Salim Khan’s second wife, also joined the celebrations. The evergreen icon looked elegant in a black ethnic ensemble as she greeted photographers.

Salman Khan, Alvira-Atul Agnihotri, and close friends make an appearance

Salman Khan too was spotted arriving for the intimate gathering. The superstar exited his car and made a brief appearance before heading inside to be with his family. Salim Khan’s daughter Alvira Agnihotri attended the anniversary dinner along with her husband, filmmaker Atul Agnihotri and their daughter Alizeh Agnihotri.

Actors Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta, who share a close bond with the Khan family, were also among the guests. The couple twinned in stylish black outfits for the evening.Zaheer Iqbal arrived with Sonakshi Sinha, while Daboo Malik and Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma were also seen making their way to the venue. Salman’s bodyguard Shera and his son Abir Singh also made their presence at the celebrations.

Salim Khan, the celebrated writer behind Bollywood classics such as Sholay, Zanjeer, and Deewar, married Salma Khan (formerly Sushila Charak) in 1964. The couple share five children—Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, Alvira, and Arpita. In 1981, he married the legendary dancer-actress Helen, who went on to form a warm and affectionate bond with the entire family.
