Saiyaara’ mints Rs 1.87 crore in 6th weekend

Mohit Suri, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s ‘Saiyaara’ mints Rs 1.87 crore in 6th weekend, inches towards Rs 328 crore mark

Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara becomes a surprise hit. The film stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. It earns Rs 326.8 crore in 38 days. Saiyaara is now the second biggest Hindi grosser of 2025. The film follows Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna’s Chaava. Saiyaara shows remarkable staying power despite competition. The film’s success is due to youthful appeal and music.

Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has proved to be one of the most surprising success stories of 2025. The film, which released with modest expectations, has now gone on to collect a massive Rs 326.8 crore in 38 days, firmly establishing itself as the second biggest Hindi grosser of the year after Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna’s Chaava.

A Dream Start and Record First Week

The film opened with a solid Rs 21.5 crore on Day 1 and grew rapidly over its first weekend with collections of Rs 26 crore on Day 2 and Rs 35.75 crore on Day 3. By the end of its opening week, Saiyaara had already minted Rs 172.75 crore, an extraordinary figure for a launchpad film, and one that signaled a blockbuster run ahead.

Sustaining Momentum in Weeks 2 and 3

The second week too was phenomenal, with the film earning Rs 107.75 crore, bringing its two-week total to well over Rs 280 crore. Even though it faced new competition from films like Mahavatar Narsimha,Saiyaara continued to dominate thanks to its youthful appeal, chartbuster music, and Mohit Suri’s signature blend of romance and heartbreak.By the end of week 3, the film added another Rs 28.25 crore, holding strongly in multiplexes across metros as well as tier-2 cities. This period firmly established the film’s position as one of the year’s biggest crowd-pullers.

Holding Strong Amidst Heavy Competition

In its fourth week, collections naturally slowed, with Saiyaara netting Rs 14.1 crore and in the 5th week the numbers dropped to just Rs 2.95 crore. But what surprised trade experts was the film’s remarkable staying power despite facing massive competition from Mahavatar Narsimha, War 2 and Coolie . The sixth weekend once again reaffirmed the film’s strength. It collected Rs 1.87 crore over three days (Friday Rs35 lakh, Saturday Rs 70 lakh, Sunday Rs82 lakh), taking its 38-day total to Rs 327.67 crore. This stronghold is what has now positioned Saiyaara as the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, behind only Chaava.Saiyaara will now be competing with another love story Param Sundari headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor .
