Rosie O’Donnell secretly visits US for 2 week trip

Rosie O’Donnell visits US 1 year after leaving for Ireland, refers to Donald Trump’s comment about her citizenship

Rosie O’Donnell’s homecoming to the US from her year in Ireland is filled with mixed emotions. Reconnecting with family after a long time in a quieter environment shaped by the green landscapes of Ireland must feel bittersweet. O’Donnell’s experience abroad was particularly poignant as she navigated personal choices amidst Donald Trump’s controversial assertions about citizenship.

Talk show host, comedian, and actress Rosie O’Donnell recently shared a shocking update about her life. The star revealed that she went on a trip and stayed in the US for over two weeks, citing that she hadn’t been home in 1 year and was missing her family members. She commented about how she also wanted to see whether she would face any problems in entering or leaving the country after US President Donald Trump’s post about revoking her citizenship last year.

The commentary refers to her and the US president’s feud. She shared, “I also wanted to make sure that it was safe for me before I brought my daughter this summer, where we plan to spend the summertime off from her schooling here with my family. It was a very different country. For a year, I haven’t been watching the news.”

While talking about why she moved to Ireland in January 2025, she shared that it was a better option and choice for her. She cited that she has been out of touch with the world for a while, as she lives in a place where celebrity worship is not a concept. She further added, “I think I did what I needed to do to save myself, my child, and my sanity.”

Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump’s feud and his threat about her citizenship

O’Donnell and Donald Trump have butted heads on multiple occasions over the years. The comedian has been extremely vocal about her dislike of the US president, and their ongoing feud reached a high point in July last year. Taking to his own launched social media platform, Trump shared, “Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA.” Go to Source
