Rohit Saraf is all set to star in Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, starring Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sanya Malhotra. Reportedly, the actor will play the character named Vikram in the movie. The makers dropped the teaser of the film recently, and netizens couldn’t stop themselves from noticing Saraf’s entry. They soon compared the scene with Shah Rukh Khan’s intro scene in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. At the trailer launch event of the film, the actor addressed the comparisons.

At the trailer launch event of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, Saraf was asked about being compared to Shah Rukh Khan’s intro sequence from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, Saraf said, “It’s all kinds of honor actually.” According to Bollywood Bubble, he added, “I think it is such a big honor to get a shot as iconic as that.” He went on to say that he has Shashank Khaitan and Karan Johar’s production house, who gave him the opportunity.

Rohan Saraf added that it was one of the most special shots ever and also an “expensive” one. He thanked the makers for the same. He said, “I feel absolutely incredible, and I also got a lot of love for it, so I’m very, very happy. Thank you.”

Backed by Karan Johar’s production house and Shashank Khaitan, the film is one of the most anticipated rom-coms of the year. Apart from the four leads, the film also stars Akshay Oberoi and Maniesh Paul. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on October 2, 2025.This is Varun and Janhvi’s second collaboration after ‘Bawaal’. Also, Shashank has joined hands with Dhawan for the third time after ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’.
