The ‘Pushpa’ actress recently appeared on Jagapathi Babu’s Zee5 talk show ‘Jayammu Nischayammu Raa’ to promote her upcoming film ‘The Girlfriend’. Dressed in a printed suit, she greeted the audience with her signature Korean hearts, but it was her sparkling engagement ring that caught everyone’s attention.

During the chat, host Jagapathi Babu playfully teased the ‘Animal’ actress about the number of “Vijays” in her life. He joked, “Vijay Deverakonda, friendship. Vijay Sethupathi, fan. And Thalapathy Vijay, all time fan. So you’ve owned vijayam (success) and Vijay, I guess.” His witty remark made Rashmika burst into laughter, and she even cheekily winked at the audience in response.When Jagapathi Babu showed her a childhood picture, Rashmika mentioned that it was taken in Chennai. He quickly quipped again, “So you were a fan of Vijay then too,” leaving everyone laughing.

As their conversation continued, Jagapathi Babu noticed the rings on Rashmika’s fingers, including the prominent engagement ring. He curiously asked, “So are these rings sentimental or…?” To this, Rashmika smiled and said, “They’re very important rings.”The host then added, “I’m sure one of those rings is your favourite and there’s a history behind it.” The actress could not help but blush as the audience began cheering. In her usual cheerful tone, she replied, “I am enjoying it.”

According to reports, Rashmika and Vijay got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in October this year. Vijay’s team confirmed to Hindustan Times that they were indeed engaged. The team also mentioned that the wedding is likely to take place in February 2026.

Rashmika’s professional calendar remains full. She has had a busy year with major releases like ‘Chhaava’, ‘Sikandar’, ‘Kuberaa’ and ‘Thamma’.
