Rapper and lyricist Vedan has opened up about one of the biggest milestones in his musical career after collaborating with composer Anirudh Ravichander for the upcoming movie ‘DC’. The song ‘Boom Ba Diga Diga’ is written and sung by the artist who shared an emotional note about recording the song and working with one of the most celebrated music directors of India. The emotional words have struck a chord with fans, especially after the high-energy number received a positive reaction online.
Vedan’s long-time dream to work with Anirudh
Vedan spoke about the collaboration in a chat with Cinema Vikatan and said he was happy and thankful. “I am extremely happy to share one of the biggest milestones in my musical journey with all of you. For the first time, I got the opportunity to sing a song for the upcoming film ‘DC’ with rockstar Anirudh Ravichander. The recording took place recently in Chennai, and it became an unforgettable experience in my life,” he said. He further added, “Working with Anirudh, whose music has inspired millions and redefined contemporary Indian cinema, is a great honour for me. It truly feels like a long-time dream has come true.”

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘DC’ gears up for August release
Directed by Arun Matheswaran, ‘DC’ marks filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut as a lead actor. The film stars Lokesh alongside Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana in important roles, while Anirudh Ravichander has composed the soundtrack. Two songs from the album, including ‘Boom Ba Diga Diga’, have already been released and have generated strong buzz among fans. Originally scheduled to hit theatres on July 31, the film has now been postponed to August 7, and the action drama has been certified ‘A’ by CBFC.
