‘Dhurandhar’: Ranveer Singh reveals people did not recognise R Madhavan in teaser; calls Arjun Rampal the ‘most good-looking man on earth’

The trailer of ‘Dhurandhar’ released today and quickly grabbed attention for its bold visuals, fierce mood and impressive cast. The film brings together Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Sara Arjun in strong, dramatic roles. At the trailer launch, Ranveer Singh heaped heartfelt praise on R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal.

Ranveer Singh shares admiration for R Madhavan

R Madhavan plays a character inspired by India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and Ranveer was full of gratitude and respect for him. Speaking warmly, Ranveer said, “You are Masterclass, sir. Thank you for all the generosity that you showed towards me and your kind words. You know, his performances in Mani sir’s cinema, you know, this is, this is those are the performances that you show, you tell the world that there are such actors in our country as well. You are an absolute genius of an actor, sir. Thank you so much for gracing us with your talent in this film. You really killed it.”Singh also spoke about Madhavan’s surprising transformation, saying, “When the teaser came out, everyone was watching, watching, and people did not even realised its Madhavan sir. Only when his name comes you realize that he is R Madhavan. What a look, what a look. And it’s not easy, 3-4 hours in prosthetics, but sir, what a performance. I can’t wait for the world to see it.”

Ranveer Singh praises Arjun Rampal’s fierce role

In ‘Dhurandhar’, Arjun Rampal plays a terror operative based in Pakistan and a follower of Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. His character is shown as dangerous, violent and driven by the goal of destroying India. Ranveer described Arjun’s performance and transformation with great admiration.Singh said, “Arjun sir is known to be the most good-looking man on earth. But, people are now realising his depth and range as an actor. This look and presentation as an actor, I don’t know how Aditya managed to achieve this. On set the female crew members used to be all head over heels for Arjun sir despite his fierce look in the film”.Ranveer also shared a light moment, adding, “I used to be like, ‘How can you find someone hot in such a role?’”Singh continued, “Your work is exceptional in the film. Thank you for uplifting me on the sets sir, with your kind words. There were times when he tripped on set but he used to quickly get up, dust himself, and get back to work again. Thank you sir for gracing this film, and being a part of the ensemble”.
