Ranbir’s fitness regime at 43, he didn’t eat roti for 1.5 years

Ranbir Kapoor once went without eating roti for 1.5 years, here's what the 43- year old actor eats in the day to maintain his chiselled physique

Ranbir Kapoor rang in his 43rd birthday on September 28, proving that age is just a number when it comes to his energy and screen presence. The actor spent his day with daughter Raha and wife Alia Bhatt. He also shared that Raha gave him 43 kisses as he turned 43. Known for his lean, chiseled frame, the actor continues to maintain peak fitness with a strict workout regimen and a clean, wholesome diet. For those who want a glimpse into Ranbir’s diet and fitness, here’s what his trainer had revealed once. Back in 2022, Ranbir’s fitness trainer, Shivoham, spoke about Ranbir’s lifestyle, revealing that once went without eating a single roti for nearly a year and a half. According to Shivoham, food is an area where the actor never compromises. “Ranbir does not like sweets or fried food. He doesn’t even prefer eating outside. He always opts for simple, home-cooked meals,” he shared during an interview with Aaj Tak. Still, the actor isn’t without indulgences. Burgers happen to be his guilty pleasure, reserved only for his cheat days. Most of the time, Ranbir sticks to a low-carb diet with carefully planned meals. Shivoham said further, giving details on what Ranbir eats in the day, “For breakfast, he consumes eggs, a protein shake, and brown bread. Lunch usually includes brown rice, chicken, dal, and green vegetables. Snacks consist of dry fruits and protein shakes, while dinner is kept light.” He further added that Ranbir often chooses “brown rice, toast, or even biryani instead of roti.”Supplements also play a part in his regime, with protein, glutamine, and multivitamins featuring in his routine. But Shivoham believes the real key lies in the actor’s commitment. “He understands that you cannot fool the camera. With proper sleep, a clean diet, consistent workouts, and adequate hydration, he maintains his toned and fit physique,” he explained. On work front, Ranbir is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’. The actor will also be seen playing Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. He was last seen in ‘Animal’.
