‘Ranbir doesn’t like to look like a beast all the time,’ says his fitness trainer

'Ranbir Kapoor doesn't like to look like a beast all the time,' says fitness trainer: 'Amitabh Bachchan is always on time'

Celebrity fitness trainer Shivohaam, who has trained several leading Bollywood actors over the years, recently spoke about his experience working with Ranbir Kapoor and highlighted the actor’s discipline and professionalism. According to him, punctuality is a common trait among some of the industry’s biggest names, including Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. He has also shared several videos of the actor while working out. The fitness trainer had also shared a picture of Ranbir’s transformation for ‘Ramayana’ from ‘Animal’. Shivohaam explained that Ranbir’s physical transformations are always driven by the demands of a role rather than a desire to maintain a particular look all the time. He said during a chat with Screen, “Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t like to look like that [beast] all the time. He’s very normal right now, he’s a father, a husband, and a son. His transformations were done with a specific purpose for each film. Once the role is over, he moves on, and people should do the same… If you want to learn something from Ranbir, it’s his discipline. The man is punctual to the T.”

Emphasising Ranbir’s respect for time, Shivohaam added, “I can count on my fingers the number of times Ranbir has been late. And even if he’s five minutes behind, he always sends a message saying, ‘Sorry, I’m running five minutes late.’ That’s something to learn from and aspire to. He’s a beautiful human being—his body language, the way he speaks… You call him ‘Khandaani’ for a reason. He’s genuine.”Recalling his time training Aamir Khan, Shivohaam spoke about the actor’s dedication during Laal Singh Chaddha. “I remember when I was working with Aamir Khan for Laal Singh Chaddha, it used to take him 2-3 hours to put on the beard and makeup. We trained at 3 AM because after that, he had to sit for a makeup and do his shift.”He further compared the actors and lauded Ranbir’s commitment even on busy shooting days. “With Ranbir, if he has a 7 AM shift, he will still make time to train for at least half an hour. We set up a small gym on set so he could train during lunch.” Shivohaam also shared that his experiences with other stars have been equally lovely as he said, “I have had amazing experiences with everyone I have worked with, Ram Charan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez. Even at this age, Amitabh Bachchan is always on time, unless he has a meeting.”Shivoham concluded as he pointed out the qualities of these actors which make them successful. He said, “They are not successful because of anything other than their passion and discipline. Luck may favour you for a brief period, but after that, it’s all about what you make of it. People think shooting is glamorous, but it’s not, it’s a lot of hard work.” Go to Source
