In a thrilling update, Ram Charan has departed for the beautiful shores of Sri Lanka, ready to film the next chapter of his upcoming movie, ‘Peddi’. The film’s creative team announced the location on social media, noting that the enchanting island will set the stage for some electrifying action sequences.

Ram Charan will next feature in the film titled ‘Peddi’. And for the new schedule of the film, the actor has jetted off to Sri Lanka. A video has been dropped on the movie’s official X (previously Twitter) handle in which the actor can be seen making his way into the airport. Take a look at the clip here.

Ram Charan is flying to Sri Lanka to shoot the next leg of the film schedule. The makers have officially announced it on the film’s social media page. The caption of the X post read, “Team #Peddi is off to Sri Lanka for the next schedule❤‍🔥 The shoot will take place in the beautiful locales of the island nation ❤️. In the film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Ram Charan will be seen in an action-packed avatar, with Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.Back in August 2025, the film shared that they are filming a song on a massive scale with 1000 background dancers. Reportedly, it will become the introductory scene of Ram Charan.During Ganesh Chaturthi, the team dropped a visual and wished everyone on the occasion of the festival. The caption of the post read, “Working tirelessly to give you the best—no festivals, no holidays.”For the unversed, AR Rahman will be making his comeback into Telugu cinema after almost 15 long years.
