Rakul Preet Singh reacted to a viral video where a man claiming to be a doctor alleged she underwent plastic surgery. Calling him out on Instagram, she said it’s “scary that people like him mislead others.” Recently praised for ‘De De Pyaar De 2’, Rakul next stars in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’.

Celebrities are constantly under the microscope, facing everything from body shaming to random medical opinions. Recently, Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh found herself caught in a similar situation after a man claiming to be a plastic surgeon alleged that she had drastically changed her looks through cosmetic procedures.

The viral video and allegations

Now, Rakul reacted to a video making rounds online where a man, claiming to be a doctor, compared her old and new pictures. In the video, he suggested that she had undergone Botox, fillers, and a nose job. He also took a dig at her for not being open about the alleged procedures and for focusing only on fitness, saying it created unrealistic beauty expectations.

Taking to Instagram Story, she wrote, “Fraud alert: it’s scary that people like him are claiming to be doctors and making statements without any factual checks and misleading people. Being an actor who understands ancient and modern science, I have no issues if people do surgeries, but there is also another thing called weight loss that comes from hard work. Ever heard of that? Beware of such ‘doctors.’”
