Rajinikanth spills beans on his reunion with Kamal Haasan, clears confusion about the director, and thrills fans

Rajinikanth recently delivered the action drama ‘Coolie,’ and the film helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj didn’t go well as expected. Superstar actor is next working on ‘Jailer 2’ and reunited with director Nelson Dilipkumar for the much-awaited sequel. Rajinikanth is said to be coming together with Kamal Haasan in a film, and the reunion of the two leading stars after 45 years excited fans. Lokesh Kanagaraj was said to be directing Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth’s reunion, but Rajinikanth’s latest answer confuses fans.

Rajinikanth confirms plans for reunion with Kamal Haasan

Rajinikanth, who met reporters at the Chennai airport, shared information about his new film with Kamal Haasan. He said, “Next, we are going to do a film produced by Raaj Kamal and Red Giant. The director has not been decided yet. I want to act with Kamal Haasan. If we get the right story and character for it, we will act,” he said. Rajinikanth’s statement has confirmed that the director for his film with Kamal Haasan has not yet been decided, and the film is still under initial talks. However, let’s wait to see who will helm the film, reuniting Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, and when it will take off.

‘Coolie’ streams on OTT

Rajinikanth’s recent release, ‘Coolie,’ is now streaming on a popular platform, and the film is available in multiple languages. The action drama, which received mixed responses in theaters, continues to receive divided responses in OTT as well.Nagarjuna Akkineni, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Rachita Ram played key roles, while Aamir Khan appeared in a cameo to make his Tamil debut. Anirudh Ravichander scored the music, while the cinematography was handled by Girish Gangadharan.
