Riteish Deshmukh’s historical epic, ‘Raja Shivaji’, continues to redefine the boundaries of regional cinema. Released on Maharashtra Day 2026, the film has not only captured the hearts of audiences but has also set the cash registers ringing across the country. After a historic first Monday, the film has crossed the prestigious Rs. 50 crore India net mark within its first seven days, a feat unprecedented for a Marathi-language production. By the end of Tuesday (Day 5), the film had amassed a net collection of Rs. 44.40 crore, proving its sustained appeal beyond the initial hype.
