The Prabhas starrer ‘The Raja Saab’ has been released in theaters on January 9, 2026. The film has been raking in good numbers at the box office. Amidst the buzz around the film, as per reports, it has been leaked online. Reportedly, the Hyderabad cyberpolice have initiated action to crack down on piracy websites. And not just that, a report stated that a restaurant in the US allegedly played the pirated version of the film. Let’s learn more about it.

US restaurant plays pirated version of ‘The Raja Saab’

According to the Hindustan Times report, an Instagram account for NRIs dropped a video, which has been deleted now, claiming that the movie was played in a restaurant in Ohio, US. The social media page alleged that the pirated version of the horror-comedy was showcased on their TV. The caption of the post read, “Too much ra (folded hands emojis).” Meanwhile, the US distributor of the film recently announced that ‘The Raja Saab’ has crossed the USD 2 million mark in the region in just two days.

According to the report, the Hyderabad police has confirmed that the film featuring the Rebel Star has been leaked online. The cops have made a few arrests in the case as well.

Directed by Maruthi, the film stars Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Boman Irani, Yogi Babu, Bramhanandam, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, and Murali Sharma. According to the Filmy Beat report, the movie is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 250-300 crore.And according to the News18 Showsha report, Prabhas has charged Rs 100 crore for the movie.Meanwhile, the makers have also announced the sequel at the end of the movie. It has been titled as ‘Raja Saab 2: Circus 1935’.
