Raashii Khanna shares BTS pictures with heartfelt note for her role in '120 Bahadur'; Calls it her most emotional performance yet

Actress Raashii Khanna has shared behind-the-scenes photos from her most awaited upcoming patriotic drama, ‘120 Bahadur’.The actress, who portrays Sugan Shaitan Singh Bhati, the wife of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, penned a heartfelt note honoring women who stand strong behind their soldier husbands.Sharing a glimpse into her character’s emotional world, Raashii wrote, “She didn’t go to the battlefield, but she lived the war every day. Meet Sugan Shaitan Singh Bhati. I carried her in my chest and this one is for the women who love in silence, who hold the home while the nation calls and who carry pride and pain in the same breath.” Her powerful words and the raw stills from the film have received immense praise. One fan wrote, “You gave this character a soul.” Another one commented, “Such a talented actress.” A third one commented, “Eagerly waiting to witness your performance.”

‘It wasn’t easy for me’: Raashii opens up about the challenge

At the film’s music launch event, Raashii reflected on the intensity of her character, saying, “I think I’m very fortunate that I got to be a part of 120 Bahadur. To be in the role of an Army wife in itself is a challenge. And it wasn’t easy for me because of the way the scenes were written, the depth with which they were written and every time I was in a scene, I got very emotional.”

‘120 Bahadur’: A tale of courage and sacrifice

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, ‘120 Bahadur’ chronicles the Battle of Rezang La, where 120 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment heroically stood against 3,000 enemy troops during the 1962 Indo-China war. The film stars Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC. The drama film offers a stirring blend of valor, emotion, and sacrifice. ‘120 Bahadur’ is slated to release on November 21, 2025, and expectations are high.
