Clouds of grief are looming over Punjabi singer Saab’s house. While he was still recovering from the loss of his mother, tragedy struck again, and he lost his father, Iqbat Muhammad. Reports suggest that he passed away on Monday, at the age of 63, after suffering a heart attack. The last rites of late Iqbal Muhammad are scheduled for today.
Khan Saab, Iqbat Muhammad’s final rites
Taking to his social media handle, Punjabi singer Khan Saab shared that the final rites will be performed today at 1:00 pm in his native village, Bhandal Dona.
This news comes weeks after Khan Saab’s mother, Salma Parveen, passed away. She breathed her last on September 25, 2025, and her funeral was held on September 27, 2025, in the native village. In her memories, on October 5, the Khan Family held a prayer meeting.
Tributes pour in
As the news of Khan Saab’s father came out, tributes started pouring in.Sharing a picture with the text Khan and a broken heart, Sara Gurpal mentioned that she can’t even imagine the pain that Khan Saab must be going through. She recalled how just a few days back, she told his father that he needs to take care of himself, as he is all that Khan has.
