Punjab floods 2025: Shah Rukh Khan sends prayers and says, 'the spirit shall never break'

The 2025 Punjab floods have prompted an outpouring of support from Bollywood celebrities. Shah Rukh Khan expressed his solidarity with the flood victims, offering prayers and strength to the people of Punjab. Alia Bhatt also shared her concern and praised those working tirelessly on the ground, while other stars like Sanjay Dutt, Karan Johar, and Vicky Kaushal have also extended their support.

The 2025 Punjab floods are wreaking havoc on the state. As the citizens are fighting this hard battle against the natural calamity, several Bollywood stars have extended their support and expressed their concern. Shah Rukh Khan prays for Punjab amid crises

Taking to X (formerly called Twitter) and his Instagram story, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “My heart goes out to those in Punjab impacted by these devastating floods.”“Sending prayers and strength… The spirit of Punjab shall never break… may God bless them all,” he concluded.

Alia Bhatt appreciates people who are working on the ground in the affected areas

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ co-star Alia Bhatt also took to her handle to express her concern. She also lauded the ones who are working day in and out on the ground in the affected areas. “My heart goes out to everyone affected by the floods in Punjab. Sending love, strength, and prayers to all those impacted, and gratitude to the people working tirelessly on the ground to help. May every family find the support they need to heal and rebuild. (sic),” shared the actress.Several others, like Sanjay Dutt, Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and more, used their handles to show their support towards Punjab and the people impacted by the flood.

Punjab floods – Challenging times for the state

According to an IANS report, as Punjab suffers, some of its areas, namely Gurdaspur, Fazilka, Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, and Amritsar, have been most affected by the floods.
