Priyanka is currently filming the final few schedules of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Varanasi’, a project she described as one of the most ambitious undertakings of her career. “What we are trying to do is something so ambitious and of a scale not seen for a very long time. Piryanka Chopra on her career growth

Opening up about life on the Hyderabad sets, she said, “Shooting on the sets of ‘Varanasi’ is furious and funny. The families of all the actors are around. It is fun, we’re laughing, watching IPL matches, but there is also immense focus, rehearsals, and focus-driven work.”Reflecting on her career growth over the years, Chopra acknowledged the greater creative control she now enjoys. She said, “When I started, scripts were not customised for me. My husband Nick (Jonas) recently said (quoting singer Beyoncé) that ‘You are on the other side of your sacrifice’.” She added, “I can now pick and choose and create my own projects.”On the international front, Chopra is also attached to filmmaker Mira Nair’s biographical drama ‘Amri’.
