Paris Hilton won’t follow mother Kathy Hilton to ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: 'That show has too much drama for me'

Kathy Hilton has been one of the OG members of the hit reality TV show, ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’. The star has been well-known for her chaotic personality and drama on the show. Her daughter, Paris Hilton, is a celebrity icon on her own and has left many people wondering whether she would ever think about taking over for her mother. In a recent interview, the star finally put the rumors to rest and gave her fans the final answer about whether she would be appearing on the hit show.

While in conversation with PEOPLE in Los Angeles while attending the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony, Hilton revealed her plans for the future.

During the interview, she was also asked whether she would like to join and follow her mother’s footsteps into the reality show ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’.Once and for all, Paris made sure to give a prompt answer that she would not like to attend the show, stating she is frankly “too busy” to do so. Providing more context as to why she does not wish to appear on the reality show, Paris revealed, “My mom is the OG and the queen. She can’t be topped. That show has too much drama for me.”

About Kathy Hilton’s appearances on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’

The star made on-and-off impromptu appearances on the show in her early years. She also appeared as a guest on multiple occasions alongside her siblings Kyle Richards and Kim Richards, who were cast members of the show. In 2021, she joined the show as a ‘friend of the housewives.’ She was first listed as a guest for a few seasons, then as a ‘friend’ until season 13, after which she is once again returning to season 14 as a guest.As for Paris Hilton, on the work front, she has been focusing on her solo and DJ career. In 2020, she also released a documentary about the teen entertainment industry and its effect on people. The documentary was titled ‘This Is Paris.’
