‘Parimala and Co’ box office collections day 3: Jayaram–Urvashi starrer shows weekend growth; India Net collection reaches Rs 5.83 cr

Jayaram and Urvashi’s ‘Parimala and Co.’ witnessed a rise in collections during its opening weekend. Like several films currently running in theatres such as ‘Blast’, and ‘Karuppu’, the Urvashi film also benefited from increased Sunday turnout. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 2.23 crore in India net on Day 3. This marks an 11.5 percent increase compared to Day 2 collections of Rs 2.00 crore.

India total moves closer to Rs 6 crore mark

‘Parimala and Co.’ has now reached approximately Rs 5.83 crore in India net collections. The India gross total currently stands at around Rs 6.70 crore.

Evening shows register stronger audience response

The film registered an overall occupancy of 33.28 percent for its Tamil version.Evening shows emerged as the strongest segment of the day with occupancy touching 43.54 percent. Afternoon screenings also recorded healthy numbers at 38.62 percent. Morning and late-night shows remained comparatively lower.’Parimala and Co.’ revolves around a family dealing with unpredictable situations and complicated relationships. Jayaram and Urvashi lead the cast and bring familiar on-screen energy to the family entertainer.

‘Blast’ also continues gaining momentum at the box office

Meanwhile, Arjun Sarja’s Blast also witnessed a noticeable rise during the weekend. According to Sacnilk, ‘Blast’ collected approximately Rs 4.35 crore in India net on Day 11. This showed a 24.3 percent increase over Day 10 collections of Rs 3.50 crore.’Blast’ has now reached around Rs 35.74 crore in India net earnings.
