Jayaram and Urvashi film revolves around a chaotic family

‘Parimala and Co’ presents a dark comedy narrative built around a family dealing with unusual situations and complicated relationships. The story combines emotional moments with humour and focuses on family tensions and interactions that slowly unfold through a mix of drama and comedy. It can be also said as ‘Drishyam’ with a quirky twist.

Jayaram and Urvashi reunion draws attention

One of the major attractions of the film has been the reunion of Jayaram and Urvashi on screen. ETimes gave the film a rating of 3 stars out of 5. The review highlighted the performances of the lead cast and noted:”The Jayaram and Urvashi reunion has an easy, lived-in warmth, and Jayaram in particular holds the film together without ever overplaying a beat. Emperuman is shaped so closely to Mysskin’s deadpan that he barely looks like he is acting, and the running gag about his endless eating mostly lands. Yogi Babu, in a smaller part, does his usual dry routine with the jokes often at his own expense. Nobody is stretched, and nobody falters.”The review also pointed to the film’s overall tone and approach towards storytelling.”Nothing here lingers, but very little grates either, and that balance is reason enough to turn up.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
