‘Param Sundari’ FIRST reviews: Netizens call it ‘rom-com at its best’

'Param Sundari' FIRST reviews out: Netizens call this Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor starrer 'romcom at its best' - See inside

Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra’s much-talked-about romantic film ‘Param Sundari’ is just a day away from release and as the excitement builds up, the first reviews are out now. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film promises a blend of comedy, drama, and a north-meets-south love story. The trailer and songs reminded fans of ‘Chennai Express’, especially, Janhvi’s accent in the film. But only when one sees the film, the conclusions can be drawn. Fans are especially eager to see Janhvi and Sidharth together for the very first time, a pairing that has already generated buzz with their sizzling chemistry, in ‘Pardesiya’ and ‘Bheegi Saari’ Ahead of its theatrical release, a special screening was hosted in Mumbai on Wednesday night and the early reactions have started pouring in. Influencer and blogger Simone Khambatta couldn’t stop praising the film as she shared, “Rom Com at its BEST! 🤍 In frame with the proud director. @tusharjalota! There is nothing not to love about ‘Param Sundari’. It’s a super feel good movie🥰 And is highly entertaining!”

Janhvi Kapoor defends her half-Tamilian, half-Malayali role amid ‘Param Sundari’ accent backlash

In another post, alongside a reel featuring Janhvi and Sidharth, Simone added, “Chemistry 15/10! And I have to say, @janhvikapoor has NEVER looked better. @tusharjalota you’ve created such a magical, fun and gorgeous on screen couple with @sidmalhotra and Janhvi. Such a happy, funny, adorable, feel good film 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 @sharadakarki GO WATCH IT GUYS!!!!”

What do you think will be the highlight of ‘Param Sundari’?

A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “#ParamSundariReview ⭐⭐⭐⭐ #ParamSundari is a total entertainer 💃✨ A fun mix of comedy & romance that keeps you hooked. #JanhviKapoor shines in her best role yet 🔥 while #SidharthMalhotra adds his effortless charm. A refreshing watch, worth it! Assistant director Sonali Rattan Deshmukh also shared her reaction, writing, “Param was a charmer and Sundari is fire! Always cheering for you @tusharjalota – all the right Rom com feels! And the music 🥰 Kill it at the movies😘.”While the first reviews seem promising, it’s only the audience who will make the final call regarding the movie. At the moment, ‘War 2’ and ‘Coolie’ both have begun to fizzle out at the box office and ‘Param Sundari’ has an open window. However, only positive word of mouth, will eventually make the film bring in audience to the theatres.
