Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Param Sundari’ beats Marjaavaan to become his 5th biggest grosser

Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Param Sundari,’ co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, has grossed ₹48.25 crore in India, becoming his fifth-highest grosser. Despite mixed reviews, it surpassed ‘Marjaavaan’ (₹48.04 crore). The film opened with ₹7.25 crore, peaking at ₹10.25 crore on Sunday, before weekday drops. ‘Param Sundari’ joins Malhotra’s top films like ‘Ek Villain’ and ‘Kapoor & Sons’.

Sidharth Malhotra’s latest release Param Sundari co-starring Janhvi Kapoor has earned a total of Rs 48.25 crore in India. Despite receiving mixed response from the audience and critics the film has secured a special place in Sidharth’s filmography as it has become his 5th biggest grosser by overtaking his 2019 release Marjaavaan directed by Milap Zaveri. THe film had a lifetime collection of Rs 48.04 crore.The film opened on a decent note where it collected Rs 7.25 crore on Day 1, on day 2 the film witnessed a decent where it collected Rs 9.25 crore showing a jump of over 27 %. On Sunday the show showed a bit more of improvement as the film earned Rs 10.25 crore showcasing an over 10 % jump. But as the word of mouth spread about the film, the collections began to dip over weekdays with Monday collection dropping to just Rs 3.25 crore and riding high on discounts Tuesday saw a small spike to collect Rs 4.25 crore. And on Wednesday and Thursday the collections dipped to Rs 2.85 crore and Rs 2.60 crore , taking the first weekend total to Rs 39.75 crore.On second Friday the collection dropped even further as it collected Rs 1.75 crore but over Saturday and Sunday the film saw small jumps to collect Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.5 crore respectively. On Monday the collection fell below Rs 1 crore for the first time as it collected Rs 75 lakh and on Tuesday again on back of discounts it collected Rs 90 lakh. On Wednesday, the collection once again dropped to mint Rs 60 lakh, thus taking the overall collection to Rs 48.25 crore and thereby going past Marjaavaan’s collection.His top films now stand as:

  1. Ek Villain (2014) – Rs 105.76 crore
  2. Brothers (2015) – Rs 82.49 crore
  3. Kapoor & Sons (2016) – Rs 73.22 crore
  4. Student of the Year (2012) – Rs 70 crore
  5. Param Sundari (2025) – Rs 48.25 crore
  6. Marjaavaan (2019) – Rs 48.04 crore

Sidharth will now be seen in Ektaa R Kapoor’s Vvan: Force fo the Forest with Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead.
