Nora Fatehi sustains minor injury in car accident; doctors confirmed a slight concussion

Actor-performer Nora Fatehi sustained a minor injury after being involved in a car accident on Link Road in suburban Amboli on Friday afternoon, police officials confirmed. The incident occurred while Nora was en route to a scheduled appearance at the Sunburn music festival.Police have arrested Vinay Sakpal (27), whose car allegedly rammed into the vehicle in which Nora was travelling. According to officials, the accused is suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

‘Drunk driver rammed into her car’

An insider shared details of the incident, saying, “Nora Fatehi was involved in an unfortunate car accident while on her way to the Sunburn Festival for her scheduled appearance with David Guetta, as a drunk driver rammed into her car.”The source added that Nora was immediately taken for medical evaluation. “Her team rushed her to the nearest hospital where doctors conducted a CT scan to rule out hemorrhagic injury or internal bleeding,” the insider said.

‘Doctors confirmed a slight concussion’

While initial reports described the injury as minor, the insider revealed that Nora did suffer a concussion due to the impact. “Doctors confirmed Nora has sustained a slight concussion from the impact,” the source stated. Despite the scare, sources confirmed that Nora was discharged after a medical check-up.

Returned to work despite medical advice

What stood out following the incident was Nora’s determination to honour her professional commitments. “Despite medical advice to rest, Nora insisted on returning to work and fulfilling her professional commitments, and made her scheduled appearance at Sunburn 2025 tonight,” the source added.Nora later attended the music festival in South Mumbai, where she was slated to appear alongside American DJ David Guetta.

The accident comes shortly after Nora made her US television debut on The Jimmy Fallon Show, where she performed her song What Do I Know? (Just a Girl) with Jamaican singer Shenseea.On the acting front, Nora has several projects lined up. She will be seen in the South Indian horror film Kanchana 4 and KD: The Devil.
