Nora Fatehi hits back as her name appears in drug racket

Nora Fatehi hits back as her name appears in Mumbai drug racket case; calls allegations 'lies' and says she is an 'easy target'

Nora Fatehi has become the first celebrity to publicly respond after her name surfaced in a major drug racket investigation being probed by the Mumbai Police. The case, which allegedly involves high-profile Bollywood actors, models and underworld-linked individuals, has sparked intense chatter online — prompting the dancer-actor to issue a strongly worded clarification.

Nora Fatehi issues a sharp denial

Taking to Instagram Stories, Nora condemned the reports mentioning her in the remand copy and asserted that she has no connection to the alleged parties.

Her statement reads, “FYI I DONT go to Parties.. Im constantly on flights.. Im a work holic, i dont have a personal life.. I dont associate myself with people like that.. and on my off days im at home on a beach in dubai or with my high school friends! I spend my entire days and nights working on my dreams and goals! Dont believe anything you read! It seems like my name is an easy target! but i wont allow it to happen this time! It happened once before, you guys tried to destroy me with LIES and it didnt work.. i watched silently as everyone tried their best to slander my name, smear my reputation and use me as clickbait! Please refrain from using my name and image on situations that have absolutely NOTHING to do with me! This will come with a heavy heavy price! Respectfully.”Her response comes after multiple outlets reported that her name appears in the remand note submitted to the court.

What the investigation alleges

The Mumbai Police recently uncovered an alleged drug syndicate reportedly operated by Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, also known as Lavish. According to officials quoted by PTI, Salim claimed during interrogation that he organised drug-fueled parties across India and abroad that were attended by fashion and film celebrities, as well as Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew Alishah Parkar.India Today reported that the operation was coordinated from Dubai, where Salim resides. His son, Taher Dola — brought back from the UAE in August — has also shared details with investigators. Documents accessed by the outlet allege that Bollywood actors, models, rappers, filmmakers and even relatives of Dawood Ibrahim attended these gatherings.

Remand copy names actors including Shraddha Kapoor

The remand copy cited by the publication states, “Further investigation into the said accused No. 05 has revealed that he is organising drug parties in the country and abroad and supplying drugs to those parties.”It further alleges, “The said accused has previously organised drug parties in the country and abroad with Alisha Parkar, Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Zishan Siddiqui, Ori alias Orhan, Abbas Mastaan, Loka and many other people and has himself joined in them and is supplying drugs to these and other people.”

Summons expected soon

With the remand copy naming several high-profile individuals, the Mumbai Crime Branch is expected to summon all of them, including Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, to record their statements. So far, Shraddha Kapoor has not commented publicly. Go to Source
