Nivin Pauly is ready for the release of ‘Prathichaya’ and made a bold remark on comparisons with Mohanlal during the film’s promotions.Addressing the topic, he said, “Lalettan is Lalettan; he is unparalleled.” His honest response quickly caught attention, as fans often compare actors from different generations in Malayalam cinema.

Nivin Pauly explains his simple and natural acting style

Talking about his craft in a conversation with India Today, Nivin revealed that his acting style is very simple and natural. “I take acting very casually. I am not someone who studied acting,” he said. He explained that he does not believe in over-preparing for roles. “I don’t sit and learn dialogues the previous day. I go to the set, read the script, and perform,” he shared. The method, he explained, has been successful for him all his life, and it’s helped him remain authentic toward his performances.

Nivin Pauly on trusting directors and on-set collaboration

Nivin also mentioned the relevance of the directors he had worked with to his performances. He said, “I do what feels right to me, and I know the director will correct me if needed.” He believes acting is a collaborative effort where guidance plays a key role. “If something is wrong, the director will ask me to change it,” he added. Over time, he learns to understand both his own vision and the director’s expectations, which helps him deliver better performances.

Nivin Pauly on finding character clarity and avoiding pressure

Nivin Pauly further explained how he builds clarity while working on a role. “After a few days, I understand how I see the character and how the director sees it. Then I follow that line,” he said. Unnikrishnan, ‘Prathichaya’ is expected to be an important film in Nivin Pauly’s career, with fans eagerly awaiting its release. Go to Source
