Riddhi Kumar, who had also attended the event in Hyderabad, shared how people should understand respecting the personal spaces of an actor. She acknowledged the fact that whatever the actors do, they do it to receive admiration and love from the audience; however, it should come with respect. She said, “At the end of the day, we do what we do for the admiration and love of people. But admiration has to come with respect, and with respect comes space.”She further added, “It’s very important to give people space so they feel comfortable. If I love someone, I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable. That’s the simplest way I can put it.”Riddhi went on to share how the incident affected not just her but her parents as well. She said, “I was right behind Nidhhi when this happened, and my parents were watching it live. They were extremely scared and kept calling me.”The actress stated that she couldn’t even get out initially, and when she finally managed to escape the venue, she was “shaken.” She requested people, saying, “It’s nice to be kind, and it’s important to give space.”Riddhi Kumar didn’t end there, as she went on to add that security does matter; however, the crowd and the audience should understand “how important it is for women and for people in general to feel safe.”The actress is happy that people are talking about it now and are more vigilant. She ended her words, saying, “There needs to be better and real change.”
