Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban split up after spending nearly two decades together. While the sources suggest that the actress tried to avoid bidding goodbye, it wasn’t much of a surprise for the friends. In fact, the close ones allege that their being separate was inevitable.

According to People’s report, Kidman and Urban have been living separately for a couple of months now. “People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable,” the report added. As the situation got tense, the 58-year-old’s sister has been a back for the actress to lean on, along with the Kidman family. “She didn’t want this,” the statement read, before adding, “She has been fighting to save the marriage.”

The ‘Babygirl’ actress and the country singer have been married since 2006, and have two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. During the difficult times, Kidman is the one holding the family together and looking after their children as Urban leaves. Moreso, Keith has acquired a residence in Nashville, packing his bags to move out of his home, according to TMZ. While the decision was imbalanced, the talk of the divorce has yet to be determined. Meanwhile, Urban will likely continue his tour, with the next pit stop scheduled for Thursday, October 2OctoberHershey, Pennsylvania.
