The makers of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ have dropped the first track from the film, ‘Bijuria’ right after unveiling the teaser. The peppy number is a recreated version of the iconic 90s song originally sung by Sonu Nigam. This new rendition has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi, with vocals by Sonu Nigam himself along with Asees Kaur. The video of this song features Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma. However, only Varun and Janhvi are seen dancing. The song largely focuses on them. Though, they are getting a lot of love for their dance and chemistry, netizens are disappointed that Sanya is not seen dancing.
While audiences are vibing with the track and calling it the perfect party anthem, many fans are upset over the fact that Sanya Malhotra, known for her exceptional dancing skills, was sidelined in the choreography. The ‘Mrs’ actress gets a lot of love for her dance videos on social media. One fan expressed their disappointment, tweeting, “It’s criminal to have #SanyaMalhotra in a song and not have her dance even a bit despite it being a party song. She is such an amazing dancer. Ofcourse #JahnviKapoor rocked the floor and may have torched the screen also for some.” Another X user echoed similar sentiments, writing, “It’s disheartening to see #SanyaMalhotra as show piece in song #Bijuriya. She is better actor and dancer than jhanvi and varun still she is not part of this song. And I know there will no single song in the film where sanya and rohit will feature solo. #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari.” A third comment read, “What a CRIME to not make a legit dance choreographer Sanya Malhotra and Rohit dance, they both actually dance so well. Nothing against Janhvi and Varun but I miss Alia – Varun they are a vibe.”
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is gearing up for release on October 2, 2025.
