<p> Natalie Cassidy is training to become a carerFollowing the news that actress Natalie Cassidy’s father had passed away, the star has now taken a new route in her career. As per the latest reports, the actress has started her official training to become a carer. She will also be starring in a brand new feature titled ‘Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together.’Natalie Cassidy on becoming a carerThe BBC reported that Cassidy, who had earlier built a career as an actor, is now training to become a professional carer to help as many people as she can. Her next show, ‘Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together,’ will chronicle her journey from the start, including how she obtained her licenses and everything that follows.During her talk with the channel, the actress also weighed in that she wishes to shine a light on the crippling caring system in Britain, noting the financial pressures, lack of resources, and other things negatively affecting the industry and ecosystem.She also added why she felt the need to train and become a carer, citing that “Caring for Dad right up until the end of his life, and losing him, was one of the most painful things I’ve ever had to do, but the people I met have changed my life and are so inspirational.  That’s what spurred me on to do this.” She further added that “I’ve only ever had one job, but I’ve always wondered what I would have done if I wasn’t an actress.”Natalie Cassidy recalls what it was like to care for her father in his final momentsDuring the interview, the star also recalled what it was like to care for and be there for her father in his last moments before his passing. She shared that “The final moments were breathtakingly hard but quite incredible really. I just remember holding his hand and stroking his arm, and saying, ‘It’s OK, you can go now, we’re all good, you’ve done your job.’”Cassidy’s father passed away in April 2021, after he had fallen ill. She shared during the interview that the family had all moved into an annexe home to ensure her father could be independent while also having help whenever he needed. She also credited Linda, her father’s carer for enabling her to manage everything alongside her job.  </p></div>
