Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna recently suffered a minor leg injury while shooting for his upcoming film ‘NBK111’ in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.Nandamuri Kalyan Ram to social media to wish Balakrishna a speedy recovery. Sharing a heartfelt note, the actor expressed confidence that his uncle would recover quickly and return to work soon. He wrote, “Wishing you a speedy recovery, Babai. I’m sure you will be back in action in no time.”

Balakrishna injured during action sequence

The incident reportedly took place while Balakrishna was filming an action sequence alongside Manchu Manoj at Kakinada Port.According to India Today, during the shoot, the actor is said to have slipped while performing a stunt which resulted in an injury to his leg.Filming was immediately halted and the actor rushed to a nearby hospital for medical assessment. Doctors conducted scans and other tests before ruling out the injury as a minor muscle tear.The production team confirmed that Balakrishna would undergo a minor surgical procedure which was advised by the doctors.

Makers issue official health update

The production house released an official statement addressing Balakrishna’s condition and providing clarity on his treatment. The statement read, “During the filming of an intense action sequence for #NBK111 in Kakinada, Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu sustained a minor muscle tear. As advised by the medical team, he will undergo a minor surgical procedure to ensure a swift and complete recovery.”They added, “The procedure is routine and there is absolutely no cause for concern. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back to the sets very soon.”

Jr NTR also shares a heartfelt message

Shortly after reports of the injury surfaced, Jr NTR also extended his wishes to Balakrishna through social media.Sharing an emotional message, he wrote, “Get well soon Bala Babai (Uncle). Wishing you a speedy recovery and good health. Looking forward to seeing you roar back in full form…”
