About Myron Bolitar

Myron Bolitar is one of Harlan Coben’s most famous characters. He first appeared in his 1955 novel titled ‘Deal Breaker,’ which was then followed by 12 other books where he was the leading character. Myron is a former college basketball star whose NBA career was smashed to pieces because of an incident. The book follows along as he grows older and reinvents himself as one of the leading sports agents in the industry. However, there is always a twist as his job also entails him investigating murders, threats, blackmail attempts, and more. The author also talked about seeing all of his characters on the big screen as an amazing opportunity. He shared a statement about the same and shared that “what an honour—not to mention, great fun—it is to partner up at Netflix with legend David E. Kelley and his remarkable team on this exciting new series. The Myron Bolitar books mean a great deal to me, and I’m thrilled to have such a talented and inspired group bringing them to life.”An official release date for the show has not yet been announced to the public. This is not the first time that one of Coben’s books has been adapted into a live-action project. ‘I Will Find You,’ ‘Fool Me Once,’ and ‘Run Away,’ to name a few, have been inspired by his books and iconic characters.
