Mohanlal’s latest release ‘Hridayapoorvam’ has been welcomed warmly by audiences, and the film is showing good numbers at the box office. Directed by Sathyan Anthikad, the family drama has been described as a heartfelt entertainer and has had a positive reception.According to Sacnilk, the film opened to a decent start with Rs 3.25 crore on Day 1. On its second day, Hridayapoorvam collected an estimated Rs 2.70 crore, taking its two-day total to Rs 5.95 crore. While the Friday drop was slight compared to the opening day, the film’s word-of-mouth and festive season timing are expected to help sustain momentum over the weekend.

The movie registered an overall 28.84% in Malayalam theaters on Friday, August 29. The trend showed a gradual rise across the day, 11.56% in morning shows, 19.38% in the afternoon, 32.95% in the evening, and peaking at 51.45% during the night shows.
