Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam 3’ hits lowest single-day figure

'Drishyam 3’ Box Office Collection Day 19: Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph’s film added Rs 50 lakh on Monday

Malayalam star Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam 3’ directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jeethu Joseph was released in theatres on May 21. After racking good numbers during the initial days the film slowed down at the box office. On Monday, it recorded its lowest tally making Rs 50 lakh.As per trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Drishyam 3’ collected over Rs 50 lakh across 743 shows. The major collection comes from the Malayalam version as it added Rs 49 lakh and the remaining one lakh from Telugu version.After Monday, the film’s total India gross collections are Rs 124.05 crore and total India net collections stands at Rs 106.93 crore so far.

Day-wise collection breakdown

The film saw a massive chunk of collection during its first week as it made more than Rs 10 crore during the first weekend. Later, they wrapped up the first week at Rs 81.95 crore.During the second week, the film’s collection saw a little decline as it made 4-5 crore during the second weekend. It then saw another drop which brought the second week numbers to Rs 20.68 crore.Meanwhile, in the third week, on Day 16 the film added Rs 80 lakh, then made Rs 1.30 crore on Saturday and on Sunday it added Rs 1.70 crore. Now, on Monday it added Rs 50 lakh.The film has grossed a total of Rs 111.50 crore in gross collections, making its total worldwide gross collection to Rs 235.55 crore.

Theatre occupancy

The movie had an overall occupancy of 13.75%, where the morning shows enjoyed 6.40%. The afternoon shows rose to 11.40% and then evening saw a dip to 9.70%. Lastly, it peaked at night with 12.20%.
