Earlier this year, during an event for his film ‘Jugnuma’, Bajpayee recalled a viral incident where Kashyap suddenly started touching his feet. Actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Verma followed suit, creating a humorous moment. In a recent chat with News18 Showsha, the ‘Aligarh’ actor took a fun jab at the filmmaker and explained, “That was instigated by Anurag Kashyap. The ‘Zubeidaa’ actor further shared his strict routine and how it differs from Kashyap’s habits, “The other day I cancelled an interview because I wasn’t feeling good. It’s how you treat your body and soul, and I am very strict about discipline. I woke up at 5 am today, and I am very careful about what I eat, and Anurag really doesn’t care about that because he likes to eat mutton every day.”

When Anurag Kashyap spoke about his respect for Manoj Bajpayee

Kashyap had also earlier spoken about the feet-touching incident, making it clear that it was a mark of respect. Talking to News18, the ‘Dev.D’ director said, “Jaideep, Vijay, Viineet (Kumar Singh), and I met each other suddenly after a long time. And we touched Manoj’s feet (laughs). He’s unstoppable. He just goes on and on with his films. ‘Inspector Zende’ was released recently, and then ‘Jugnuma’ came. Kaise kar leta hai yeh aadmi (how does this man do this)! He’s older but ten times fitter than me. He’s like another Anil Kapoor. That’s why hum unke pair padh gaye the (laughs)! He’s a legend.”
