Malaika says she was judged for her clothes, relationships, career

Malaika Arora says she was judged on her career, clothes, relationships: 'I wear it like a crown'

Malaika Arora who is a huge inspiration to many for the way she carries herself and remains so fit, has now opened up on how everyone has been judgemental about her but she found her way to deal with it. Malaika confessed that she has now set herself free from these judgments. She was previously married to Arbaaz Khan and then was dating Arjun Kapoor. A few months ago, it was confirmed that the duo have broken up. In a recent interview, Malaika spoke about all these stereotypes and the judgements that came her way. Talking about how she dealth with it, she said during a chat with Hindustan Times, “It was tough because people love to tell you what you should or shouldn’t be. I was judged for my career, my clothes, my relationships – you name it. But the day I stopped explaining myself was the day I felt free. My biggest takeaway? The only narrative that matters is the one you write for yourself.”

Malaika Arora stuns in plunging-neckline bralette — fans lose it over her bold fashion choice

She added, “I’ve been called too bold, too outspoken, too everything. And honestly? I wear it like a crown now. If I’m “too much” for someone, they’re probably not enough for me.” However, despite all the perceptions, Malaika has carved her own path on her terms and not followed any formula. She said, “Whether in fashion, fitness, or just the choices I’ve made, I’ve never followed a formula. I’ve always believed that real confidence comes when you stop performing for the world and start living for yourself.” Malaika also gave a mantra to be more confident and said, “Self-doubt is human, it never really disappears. There are days when I question myself, just like anyone else. But over the years, I’ve learned to meet those moments with kindness rather than criticism. Confidence, for me, isn’t about never doubting—it’s about moving forward with grace despite it.”
