Mahima reacts to daughter Ariana’s resemblance to Mika Abdalla

Mahima Chaudhry reacts to daughter Ariana’s viral resemblance to Hollywood actor Mika Abdalla: ‘People asked if she had made her debut’

Mahima Chaudhry is enjoying the internet’s latest obsession. The actress recently reacted to viral social media posts comparing her daughter Ariana Mukherjee to American actor Mika Abdalla, with many fans calling the Off Campus star Ariana’s Hollywood lookalike.

Mahima’s phone flooded with messages

Social media has been abuzz with comparisons between Ariana Chaudhry and Mika Abdalla, who plays Allie Hayes in Prime Video’s popular series Off Campus. Several users have also pointed out that Mika bears a striking resemblance to a young Mahima Chaudhry from her Pardes days.Laughing about the viral trend, Mahima revealed that friends, family and fans have been constantly sending her clips and screenshots of the Hollywood actor.“Yeah I know. I love her, she’s fantastic. How can people from two different continents have such an uncanny resemblance,” Mahima told Hindustan Times. The actor added that the resemblance became such a talking point that some people assumed Ariana had already stepped into acting.“I know, some people called and asked if Ariana had made her debut. I told them, ‘No, not yet. There’s this Campus thing that’s going viral’. A lot of people sent it to me. It was quite entertaining,” she shared.

‘I’m very happy with the comparison’

Rather than being surprised by the comparisons, Mahima said she finds them endearing and complimentary.“It’s flattering to see someone so cute and they say that you look like each other. Definitely use it to your advantage. I’m geeked with the resemblance because I find her very cute. And if people say I look like her or Ariana looks like her, I’m very happy,” she said. The internet has had a field day discussing the similarities. One fan joked, “Wait what! Have I seen her in Dhadkan?” while another wrote, “I saw a clip on Instagram without sound and thought it was Mahima. I was wondering where this scene was in Pardes.”Another social media user asked, “Is it just me or do you also think she resembles Mahima Chaudhary’s daughter?”

Ariana taking time to decide her future

While speculation about a possible acting debut continues, Mahima clarified that Ariana is currently focused on figuring out her next steps.“She just finished her 12th and she’s taken a year off to figure out life,” the actor revealed. However, Mahima admitted she would be delighted if her daughter eventually chose a career in entertainment.“I want her to be in entertainment, for sure. I think there’s nothing better than entertaining people. Being part of the entertainment industry in any capacity because I’ve enjoyed it so much. I like the industry,” she said.

Will Ariana follow her mother into Bollywood?

Born in 2007, Ariana has already emerged as one of Bollywood’s most-followed star kids, thanks to her social media presence and public appearances alongside her mother. While a debut may not be on the cards just yet, the constant comparisons with Mika Abdalla have only increased curiosity around her future. Go to Source
