Madhampatty Rangaraj breaks the silence on Joy Crizildaa’s claims

'Marriage was forced to extort money from me': Madhampatty Rangaraj breaks the silence on Joy Crizildaa's claims

Chef Madhampatty Rangaraj has broken his silence on allegations by fashion designer Joy Crizildaa, who accused him of secret marriage and abandonment. Rangaraj claims the marriage was forced under duress and for financial extortion, denying any voluntary admission to the Women’s Commission. He vows to prove his innocence in court with evidence.

Famous chef and actor Madhampatty Rangaraj is back in the news. A few months ago, famous fashion designer Joy Crizildaa made serious allegations against him, who gained attention for his roles in films like ‘Mehndi Circus.’ Joy Crizildaa accused Madhampatty Rangaraj of cheating on her by marrying her secretly and abandoning her when she was pregnant. She also filed a complaint with the Women’s Commission, alleging that he forced her to have multiple abortions.

The Women’s Commission recommends legal action

Two investigations were conducted on that complaint. It was later reported that the State Women’s Commission had sent a recommendation letter to the Chennai Police Commissioner and the Crimes Against Women and Children Division to take legal action against Rangaraj. Meanwhile, Joy Crizildaa sparked a new controversy on her Instagram page by saying, “During the investigation, Madhampatty Rangaraj admitted to marrying her and that the child was his.”

Rangaraj breaks the silence and claims the marriage was forced

Now, Madhampatty Rangaraj has denied it and given an explanation. In his Instagram statement, he said, “I did not give any consent to the Women’s Commission investigation. I never admitted that I had married Joy Crizildaa voluntarily. The marriage took place under duress, as Joy Crizildaa threatened to release private photos and videos to defame me. Also, that marriage was forced to extort money from me,” he said.

Madhampatty Rangaraj vows to prove innocence with evidence in court.

Rangaraj further said, “Joy Crizildaa asked for a maintenance amount of Rs 1.50 lakh per month and an EMI of Rs 1.25 lakh for her BMW car. I refused. I have never avoided a DNA test; if it is scientifically proven that the child is mine, I will take care of it for the rest of my life. I did not give any statement as mentioned in the Women’s Commission’s recommendation. I will appeal against it in court; I will submit the necessary evidence to prove the truth,” Rangaraj said firmly.
