Kalyani Priyadarshan’s superhero film ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra,’ which made it to the theatres last Friday, i.e., August 28, 2025, is enjoying a good run at the box office. Directed by Dominic Arun, the movie benefited from the weekend surge and, after that, has maintained a decent pace. Though the movie saw an expected drop on Monday, with its steady business on Tuesday, it has come closer to the Rs 40 crore mark.

According to Sacnilk, the early estimates show that the movie added Rs. 7.35 crore on Tuesday to the total tally. With its 6th day’s earnings, the movie’s total collection during the first week stands at Rs. 38.95 crore. At this pace, it would not be difficult for the movie to reach the Rs. 50 crore milestone, before the weekend hits.

On its first Tuesday, the superhero film saw a slight growth in the occupancy rate in Malayalam. It recorded 52.41% on September 2nd, while on September 1, the rate was 50.20%. Further, if we break it down, the day began with 40.17% occupancy in the morning shows, which soared to 49.43% and 56.13% respectively in afternoon and evening shows. Night shows recorded the highest rate with 63.89% occupancy.
