'Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra' box office collection day 38: Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer mints Rs 153 crore, achieves new milestone

Notable director of Malayalam cinema, Dominic Arun, has achieved great success with his recent Malayalam release, ‘Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra’. This film, which combines suspense, action, and emotion, became a topic of conversation from the first day of its release. It was released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, and received a good response beyond Kerala. The critical acclaim and fan support gave ‘Lokah’ a strong start.

‘Lokah Chapter 1’ continues its solid run

According to Sacnilk, ‘Lokah Chapter 1’ collected a total of Rs 54.7 crore in the first week, while the major earnings came from Kerala (Rs 42.45 crore). Although the film declined slightly in the second week, it still ran strong; that week’s collection was Rs 47 crore. The collection fell to Rs 27.1 crore in the third week and Rs 13.25 crore in the fourth week. However, it maintained its position week after week.

With this, ‘Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra’ has achieved a remarkable record of Rs 153.05 crore in total collections across India in 38 days. This figure holds a significant place in the box office history of Malayalam cinema.

The story of the film centers on an ordinary man who gets caught up in a criminal world due to unexpected circumstances. The twists and turns in his life, and the stories of the people around him, are all the focus of ‘Lokah: Chapter 1’. Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, and Sandy Master lead the cast with Arun Kurian and Chandu Salim Kumar in crucial roles.
