'Love Insurance Kompany' box office collection day 1: Pradeep Ranganathan starrer opens with Rs 9.93 crores worldwide

Pradeep Ranganathan’s ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ has debuted strongly, raking in Rs 9.93 crores globally on its opening day. The sci-fi romance, which explores technology’s role in love, saw a net collection of Rs 6.85 crores in India. The Tamil version led the charge, with overall occupancy reaching 32.9%.

Pradeep Ranganathan’s new film Love Insurance Kompany has opened on a decent note at the box office. As per the latest reports, the sci-fi romance collected Rs 9.93 crores worldwide on its first day.

Day 1 collections of ‘LIK’

According to Sacnilk, ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ collected a net of Rs 6.85 Cr across 3,202 shows on Day 1 in India. This takes the India gross to Rs 7.93 Cr so far.Overseas markets added Rs 2.00 Cr, pushing the worldwide gross to Rs 9.93 Cr on Friday.

Language and occupancy for the Pradeep Ranganathan starrer

The Tamil version led with Rs 5.45 Cr net and 37.0% occupancy from 2,117 shows. The Telugu version collected Rs 1.40 Cr net with 25.0% occupancy across 1,085 shows. Overall occupancy stood at 32.9% on the opening day.

In ‘Love Insurance Kompany’, a man uses a mobile gadget to time-travel to the year 2035 in search of love. The story questions whether an app can truly replace the heart in matters of romance.
