‘Love Insurance Kompany’ has taken the global box office by storm, amassing Rs 44.87 crores within just five days. This inventive sci-fi rom-com featuring Pradeep Ranganathan experienced an impressive 38.3% increase on Tuesday alone, contributing an additional Rs 4.15 Cr net in India.

‘Love Insurance Kompany’ continues its theatrical run with decent numbers. The sci-fi romantic comedy starring Pradeep Ranganathan collected a worldwide gross of Rs 44.87 crores by the end of day 5.Reports from Sacnilk indicate a positive jump on Tuesday.

Box office momentum builds for ‘LIK’

On day 5, the film added a net of Rs 4.15 Cr in India. This marks a 38.3 percent growth from day 4’s Rs 3.00 Cr. It played across 3,859 shows with an overall India net collection now at Rs 29.65 Cr. India gross stands at Rs 34.27 Cr so far.The overseas segment contributed Rs 0.60 Cr on day 5. That takes the total overseas gross to Rs 10.60 Cr.

Day 4, the first Monday, saw a net of Rs 3.00 Cr from 3,721 shows. Occupancy held at 20.3 percent. Day 5, the first Tuesday, improved to Rs 4.15 Cr from 3,859 shows at 23.6 percent occupancy.Language-wise, Tamil led with Rs 3.55 Cr net at 26.0 percent occupancy across 2,550 shows. Telugu added Rs 0.60 Cr at 19.0 percent from 1,309 shows.

‘LIK’s state-wise collection breakdown

Tamil Nadu delivered the strongest result on day 5 with a gross of Rs 3.75 Cr. APTG followed at Rs 0.64 Cr. Karnataka contributed Rs 30 lakhs while Kerala and rest of India added Rs 3 lakhs and Rs 5 lakhs respectively. The day total reached Rs 4.77 Cr.Overall occupancy for the Tamil 2D version on day 5 stood at 23.81 percent. Morning shows recorded 16.69 percent. Afternoon saw a peak at 33.38 percent while evening and night held at 21.23 percent and 21.77 percent.The film is set in 2040. People insure relationships through a dating app named LIK. A man who believes in organic love falls for a woman who embraces tech-driven romance. In doing so, he seeks to challenge’ LIK’.It stars Pradeep Ranganathan, S. J. Suryah and Krithi Shetty. Supporting roles feature Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri G Kishan, Shah Ra, Malavika and Sunil Reddy.
